Hank Gillen is Director of Veterans Services at Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia. In this role, he supports prospective, current and graduate military-affiliated students at the University. After his twenty years of active and reserve service, he is now a Major, US Army Retired Reserve. A West Point graduate, he also holds a Masters degree in Slavic Studies and an MBA. After his active military service, he founded and managed an international business development firm focused on states of the former Soviet bloc.
Since 2017, he has directed the veteran entrepreneurship program at Saint Joseph’s, which prepares those who have served to start or grow a small business. Hank is also active in the Delaware Valley Veterans Consortium, and the network of the region’s college and university veteran service offices.
